UPDATE: HR 2339 will mean the end of our industry

UPDATE: The White House released a letter strongly opposing HR2339 (Federal Flavor Ban) ultimately saying the President would veto the bill if it made it to his desk AND...believes vaping is less harmful than smoking as well as a tool for Tobacco Harm Reduction! Science and Education, not propaganda and fearmongering...Finally! WE ARE BEING HEARD! What a great day for Americans to have the President fighting for your ability to choose a less harmful alternative! All of our work is paying off.

The vote was delayed for today, 28th, Friday, 2020. Keep calling!

Vote on HR2339 postponed. "The Chair by voice vote announced that the ayes had prevailed. Mr. Burgess demanded the yeas and nays. The Chair postponed further proceedings on the question on ordering the previous question until a time to be announced."

The U.S. House of Representatives has a vote scheduled regarding HR 2339 this Thursday, February 27, 2020.

Today, the overwhelming majority of the vaping industry will be one step closer to being regulated out of business, and we must all do our part to stop this from happening. Customers, shop owners, manufacturers, we are all involved.

Everyone must take action now!

In the last few months, way too many false media stories were in the news regarding false accusations thrown at the vaping industry for deaths that had nothing to do with FDA regulated e-liquids.

If you are not yet aware, HR 2339 is calling for:

- AN OUTRIGHT BAN ON FLAVORED PRODUCTS

- AN OUTRIGHT BAN ON ONLINE SALES

- INCREASED TAXES ON VAPING PRODUCTS

- STRICT PMTA PROCESS FOR REMAINING UNFLAVORED PRODUCTS

- A $100M ANNUAL USER FEE COLLECTION

What can you do right now is to find your representative, give them a call and let them know you are against this bill. It's our responsibility to fight for our rights and to ask for decent regulations that protect our industry.

Why should you take action?

The ban on flavored vapes would be imposed in just 30 days. That would force thousands of vape shops to shut their doors, and vaping will become inaccessible to millions of adults that rely on this alternative for a healthier lifestyle.

We are the ones who can make a difference. So pick up the phone and help the vaping industry survive.
